Not only does Re-ment take us on a virtual trip around the cuisine of Japan, giving us fantastic miniature versions of food and kitchen, but also takes us to different kinds of shops to illustrate the typical lives of Japanese. This time, Re-ment travels to the Supermarket to hit your local produce department. There are ten different sets in this series, each set being something you can find in a typical supermarket in Japan ranging from the typical tomato, lettuce, and carrot variety, to Japanese style radishes, canned vegetables and jams as well as classy fruit baskets that are often given as gifts (and highly expensive as well). Each set comes with additional accessories such as boxes and baskets to increase it's authenticity and is well crafted with typical Re-ment quality making them great display items or for use with figures. A wonderful tour of a typical Japanese supermarket in a box!
